What a surprise! I woke up in the morning to find a present under the tree, addressed to me from......Santa! I thought it might have been delivered in Japan because my certificate of residence is in Japan, but it seems that Santa traced my good girl power to Toronto. I'm afraid of my good girl power.....haha There was an assortment of cookies inside. Thank you!
For lunch, we went out for a Chinese buffet with host father's relatives and two others. It's been a long time since I've been to a buffet. In Toronto, it's not unusual to find Chinese or Korean food and sushi together, and sure enough, there was sushi too. It tasted okay.
The roast beef was cut by the chef. The lady in front of me was asked ‘Do you want a little piece?’ by the chef, and she joked ‘I want a little big piece’. I watched it with a smile on my face. Then I asked, "Can I get the same one?" and the chef asked, ‘Do you want a little piece?’ with a smirk. The lady said on my behalf, ‘Nooooo, she needs little biiig pieces!’, and the chef put three (little) big pieces on me, saying ‘hi~a little ones😁, merry Christmas!’.
After lunch, we moved to his relative's house for a gift exchange. I didn't know and I thought there would be no gifts for me because I was a stranger, but one person gave me a small present, chocolates and a bill. The gifts were delivered to us by a little Santa's helper, his relatives' children, from a pile of presents under the Christmas tree.
Without a doubt, this Christmas will be one of the best Christmas memories of my life.
