〈2024-12-24〉Merry Christmas🎄

Today is Christmas Eve and we had a home party. About 15 of my host father's relatives were there. I had never met them before, but they were all friendly and kind and helped me with a survey for my thesis. It was funny how the place turned into a scene silently like during a test, as everyone was trying to answer it. There was a lot of food on the table and we ate until we were full.

One of his relatives had a child named Wolfgang, and the first time I heard his name I thought I had heard it  wrong. In Canada, it's not a general name, but it's a classical German name, and Mozart's real name is also Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, apparently. 

Also, I consulted a person who lives in New Jersey about a trip to New York. "Are subways dangerous? Especially at night", I asked her, ’What time?......7 or 8 pm? Of course......it's safe 😁’ she answer me haha.

I think I would never have had such a good Christmas if I had left my homestay and lived in that share house, the one I was considering.
