〈2024-12-26〉PizzaPizza

Today is Boxing day, which is one of national holidays in Canada. Apparently, the name comes from the day when churches open boxes of Christmas presents that they have collected donations for the poor. I heard that many shops had sales, but as I am not interested in shopping, I just stayed at home. 

I was actually planning to join a community of Japanese people in Canada and people interested in Japanese culture for the first time, but they sent the meeting place an hour before and it took two hours from where I was, so I gave up. Sad.

Then my host father invited me to eat pizza and we went to PizzaPizza to take out. I was excited to try it because for some reason PizzaPizza was so unpopular with my friends and teachers, but it was just a normal pizza. It was not particularly good or bad. I don't know why people don't like it.
