Extraordinary thing happened today. I arrived at work in the morning, greeted the owner and when I was cleaning the washroom in preparation for the opening, a loud alarm suddenly sounded from the kitchen. I looked into the kitchen and found the owner soaking wet from the sprinklers and evacuating the kitchen items. After the sprinklers had been turned off for a while, the alarm was still going off and the owner was probably calling the alarm company. I asked the owner what had happened, but he didn't know that. As it was only me and the owner there and I was in the washroom and the owner was in front of the cash register, so we did not know why the alarm in the kitchen suddenly went off. I think it was probably a malfunction. So we couldn't open the restaurant today and I just went back home.

By the way, on the way home I bought some chips. I thought I bought the regular flavour and the ketchup flavour, which is Canada-only, but what I thought was the regular flavour was the vinegar flavour. They were both surprisingly sour and I don't think I'll ever buy them again.
