〈2025-01-20〉Sledding!!!!

Diary

Today, I went sledging with my classmates. Actually, the temperature was  -14°C, which is the coldest it has been all this winter. Which means it would be crazy to go sledging today. My friend's roommate had a big sled, so we borrowed it. It was a bit embarrassing to ride a subway with a sled as tall as I am, but it's actually not that unusual in Toronto.

The snow had melted and turned to ice since last Friday, and my butt hurt when I rode the sled haha. At first we rode one by one, but when the three of us rode together, it went faster and was honestly a lot of fun. But it was really windy and cold. It was crazy. The four Japanese rode together and we almost hit a shed and had almost an accident. It was crazy hehe.

It was so much fun but it was so cold, we almost froze to death after about an hour, so we went to the A&W in front of the station. I found out later that A&W is only in Okinawa in Japan. It was my first time to eat it and the buns were good, cheaper than MacDonald's but bigger and tastier, I think. We chatted about two hours. We were different ages and nationalities, but it was really fun like going back to school aged.
