Today, I went to church for the first time. I had been to church as a tourist on a trip, but I think I had never been inside properly. Maybe.

A friend told me that every Monday they have a seminar for people who are studying English as a second language. Actually, I've been wanting to go since October, but I couldn't go because it's a bit far from my house and I might not be able to get up in next day's morning if I go home late. So today, since I was on vacation, I attended for the first time.

The friend who invited me told me about the reception and something, and we sat at separate tables. At each one table sat one native volunteer and about six participants. It seemed that today was just a special Christmas day, so there were lots of sweets. While eating the sweets, the participants introduced themselves by showing photos and introducing episodes related to them. Also, everyone gathered in front of the organ and sang a song about Christmas. After that, we studied phrases about Christmas and played card games. I was wondering until the last minute whether I should go or not, but it was fun!
