〈2024-11-13〉Test? What's that? Is it yum?

Today I had a reading and listening test. It was soooo hard, especially reading. I knew. I dropped out halfway through, because the volume of reading increased, the content was difficult, and I had just headache. I ditched the reading, slept, and was able to do a little better on the listening.

After the class, I encountered a Japanese friend, so we hung out in the city. She wanted to go to Eaton Center, so we walked there. It was super cold. I heard that there was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony there today, but it was a little late, starting at 6:00 p.m., so I saw the tree without any lights on. 

Also, my friend bought some Lindt chocolates. The clerk gave me a lot of instructions, but I could only understand 30% of what he said. My friend gave me five chocolates as a reward for accompanying her. They are so delicious. I will buy some for myself next time.

On way home, we went to H Mart, an Asian supermarket that had been on my mind for a long time. I was glad to see a lot of Japanese food and they were not so expensive. There was a kitchen in the store, and we bought some kimbap that was made there and we shared it. I prefer Japanese sushi rolls, but I also like kimbap.
