Today I had a writing test. It was more difficult than the previous level, but I'm a person who writes more than the prescribed amount, so I got by.
When I heard that my friend had started looking for a job, I was in a hurry to do the same, so I went to print out my resume after the class. I had asked my American professor and my study abroad agent to correct my resume in advance and edited it, so I went to the agent's office and printed it. After that, I went to the cinnabon to submit it because I had happened to see a job offer on a website called e-maple. It was the first resume. But as soon as the clerk saw me, he said, “Resume? Give me.” and that was the end of it. While I'm at it, I bought a cinnamon roll. I didn't look at the menu, so I don't know why, but it cost about $7. How expensive! But it was so big. I'll have it for tomorrow's meal.
P.S.
Turrón de Doña Pepa, a traditional Peruvian sweet. Turrón is originally a Spanish nougat-like candy, but Peruvian one is completely different. It is made of several layers of cookies, soaked in honey, and colorfully covered with sugar confectionery. It is eaten only during Señor de los Milagros, a festival held in mid-October. So sweet.
