〈2024-10-12〉TORONTO island

Today was my first weekend in Toronto. I visited three spots with my friends. 
We made an appointment at 11 am, Queen Station, but we met at 12 am because the subway between Victoria Park Station and Kennedy Station wasn't operational. My friend who lives near Kennedy St said she had to take a bus for that section and then change to the subway, so it took 30 minutes more than usual.
Back to the story, we went to TORONTO Sign. It was very crowded. A lot of people took photos, of course, us too. Moreover, we took pictures of the Toronto Old City Hall which is near the TORONTO Sign, I didn't know it before going there. Honestly, I prefer the old one to the new one which is close to the old one.
After that, we went to the Toronto Eaton Center to have lunch. Actually, we wanted to eat Brazilian food because my housemate is from Brazil and really wants to eat it. However, the restaurant of Brazilian food is so far from TORONTO Sign. We bought bowls and wraps that have so many vegetables at Freshii. I bought a Spicy Buffalo Wraps. It was good but expensive for me. And I almost died from the pain because a very spicy part went directly into my throat.
Then, we visited the Toronto Island. We took a ship there. It was very nice to feel the wind. After arriving on the island, we walked to the beach. Also, we took photos here too and we enjoyed a beautiful view.
Finally, we went to the Distillery District. There is also great. There were many sunflowers decorating brick stores and someone was performing in the plaza. I was curious about some of the stores and would like to go back next time.
