〈2024-10-10〉Towering Castle in Toronto: Casa Loma

I could speak a little bit well in the class today. However, I think it was just a classmate who got to know me heard my story. 

After the class, my friends and I visited the Casa Loma where is a European-style castle means “mansion on a hill” in Spanish. It has been a filming location for movies. It was so beautiful and huge. I thought it is just a display of western-style rooms and halls, but I was surprised to hear there is a restaurant? and a haunted house for a limited time under ground and they hold escape game sometimes. I walked around whole the castle. I could go the top of tower and steps to roof are one-way and steep. I communicated and crossed paths with some people and it was interesting.

Then, I went a orientation held by my study abroad agent. I changed the date, so I was the only one there. A staff told me many useful information, for example how to get my bank account in Canada, how to use TTC, how to get a SIN number... And I asked her how can I speak English to my class. She also told me I should speak a lot too　as well as staffs in my language school.
