〈2025-02-03〉I wanna eat "ehomaki"

2025/02/03

Diary

February 3rd is Setsubun and there is a tradition in Japan that good things will happen if you eat a futomaki called ehomaki, a thick sushi roll, facing in the direction of blessings, without speaking. But actually, Setsubun was apparently on 2 February instead of 3 February this year haha. I really love futomaki, so I love Setsubun when many futomaki are lined up in supermarkets. I want to eat ehomaki😿

On the other hand, I ate Chinese instant noodles that my host father bought me today. I'm grateful, but I'm scared because it says ‘Contains substances recognised as carcinogens in California’. I like shin ramen which is Korean famous spicy ramen. This is because I like spicy food and it taste almost the same as the Japanese ones and they hardly sell Japanese instant noodles. There are almost two choices: Chinese or Korean.

By the way, I slept until late afternoon today, like I was dead. After that I ate dinner and wrote a blog after all this time about my trip to New York, which I did at the beginning of January hehe.
