Diary

I graduated from ILAC last week, but I didn't see my favorite teacher last Friday so I went to see her and we had a little chat and exchanged Instagram. She used to be an ALT in Japan, maybe that's why she was the teacher who had most interesting class for me and the most unified class. Big love.

After that, I went to eat ramen at Ikkousha for lunch with my ILAC friends, three Japanese and five Koreans. We went there just a few days ago, but this time it was a pork shop instead of chicken. Some of the Koreans ordered the spiciest ramen and said it was ‘so-so spicy.’ I was scary. I also got a bite, but it was so spicy that it was almost hell.

Afterwards, I went roller-skating with three of them at Union Station. I heard that roller-skating was free with the sponsorship of TD Bank, maybe. I had ice skated before, but this was my first time roller skating and personally it was more difficult than ice skating. I didn't know how to stop until the end. The venue was interesting because of the highlighter color lights shining in the dim light with music playing. And, people with their own roller skates skated very smoothly. It was so fun, but we were satisfied after a little over an hour because we just ran round and round the same place.

Later, I and one of my friends joined the ESL cafe. There are always a lot of Japanese people, but this time my group was quite multinational. It was interesting to feel the cultural differences. It was a fulfilling day.
