〈2024-12-03〉3000 Leagues in Search of Cafe

Today I participated a walking tour of Cafes organised by my language school. I wasn't able to invite any of my friends, so I wasn't sure until the last minute whether I went or not, but when I arrived at the station I was approached by a classmate who I knew a bit, so I joined.

There were about six of us participating. As soon as we started walking, a Korean woman approached me and we talked a lot. We visited a number of cafes. Normally, I heard that everyone ends up buying coffee in the first few shops, but because we weren't briefed, we didn't really know what to expect, so we walked around for five shops, for two and a half hours. On the way there, one of the staff members was walking alone, so I approached her and talked to her. I thought she was a native but she was from Colombia and had been at the same language school until two years ago. She told me there are other activity staff like her. I bought a cup of hot cocoa at the last cafe we reached and left. 

It was a time I couldn't really understand, but it was more fun than I thought it would be.
