Today was a wonderful day. First, I went to Costco with my host mother because she'll be away a few weeks from next week. We bought some food and also french fries, which are so delicious and cheap.
In the afternoon, I met my friend because we planned to visit to ripley's aquarium of canada. However, I arrived at the station thirty minutes earlier than the appointed time because there was no bus at the right time. So I took a quick walk around the University of Toronto. I’ll write more about the University of Toronto in the future😉
After we met, we visited aquarium immediately. I thought it took 38$, but actually about 48$ because the price which was shown didn't include the tax😿 To be honest, the aquarium was not bad, but not good for me. I think aquariums in Japan are better than it haha. Inside the aquarium was very dark and difficult to see, the exhibits were not particularly eye-catching, and there were a lot of people.
After that, we wanted to have a dinner. We went to Raijin Ramen, Japanese Ramen Shop. It was my first Japanese food in Toronto. The restaurant was very crowded, about 30 people are on que. I think we waited for an hour or less in the end. About the taste, I can honestly say it was good! I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and it was a little light taste for ramen. But my friend's Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen was a bit salty, so maybe it was just a coincidence. The gyoza was really great! A full ramen is $18, about 1900 yen, which is expensive when I think of eating this in Japan, and the taste is about Good, but this is Toronto, you know😏 We were really satisfied to have real Japanese food at a reasonable price. Also, all? the waitresses are Japanese and a girl was very kind. I asked her how long would I wait? She remembered that and came to say all the way “sorry for waiting long time” after we were seated.
