Today, I visited to the St. Lawrence Market with my friend. I encountered my friend after school, and she invited me to go. It is a two-story building, ground floor and basement, which, upon investigation, was once the city hall and jail. It was a market with various kinds of stores, butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, bakeries, souvenir shops, etc., which made me want to visit again. My friend bought a persimmon and cut fruits. 

After that, we walked to the park next to the CN tower. There seems a place where something about railroads is on display. We ate cut fruits and talked a lot there. Both of us are Japanese, but we talked in English. She was a English teacher in Japan, so she sometimes taught me correct grammar.

A day of doing nothing turned out to be a relaxing and enjoyable day.
