It was Thanks Giving Day, so my language school closed today. It was my first time to spend Thanks Giving Day, but my host family didn't do anything different from the usual.
I visited the Royal Ontario Museum with my friend. It was last place that I went by City PASS. We arrived early so waited 15 minutes for opening it. It was so huge and had lots of exhibitions, for example animals, plants, Chinese history, Egypt history, dinosaur and so on. The ways of exhibition were so interesting and unique. I enjoyed it! Actually, I wanted to see the exhibition about wild cats, that was hold temporary, but we had to pay more 13 dollar so I gave up.
After that, we went to Casa Tropical, a Brazilian restaurant. We ate a chicken stroganoff. A Brazilian friend taught me how to eat it: garlic rice, chicken stroganoff and french fries are served from a bowl on each person's plate, mixed together and eaten, sometimes with a sauce made of boiled beans and salad. It was my first time to eat Brazilian food and It was so delicious. It was a little salty but I love it. I don't know why, but most traditional food outside of Japan is salty to me. A chicken stroganoff is a lot so I took it out my home. (I could ask the owner👏) It was expensive than fast-food, but I could make my tomorrow's lunch so it was no problem!
